Sean "Diddy" Combs is back in the general population at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after spending several weeks in solitary confinement following a reported altercation with another inmate in July.
According to multiple reports citing sources close to the situation, the fight began after another inmate made a disrespectful comment toward Combs, escalating into pushing and punches before correctional officers intervened and separated the two men. Combs was moved to the prison's Special Housing Unit while officials reviewed the incident.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has declined to comment on the matter, citing its standard policy of not discussing individual inmate disciplinary matters. Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted last year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, a conviction he is appealing. His projected release date is currently set for February 2028.
