Manchester City winger Jérémy Doku has signed a new five-year contract, extending his stay at the Etihad until 2031, as the club also closes in on selling midfielder Tijjani Reijnders to Saudi club Al-Qadsiah.
Doku's previous deal had been due to expire in 2028, but City moved to secure the Belgian winger's long-term future after he emerged as one of the club's most important attacking players since joining from Rennes in 2023. He has made 131 appearances for City, scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists, and was part of Belgium's run to the World Cup quarter-finals this summer.
"This club means so much to me," Doku said. "I feel their love and support, and it means the world to me." City Director of Football Hugo Viana praised the 24-year-old's growth since joining, calling him "a fantastic person" who is "loved across the club." Doku becomes the fourth City player to commit to a long-term extension this summer, following Phil Foden, Josko Gvardiol, and Abdukodir Khusanov.
Meanwhile, City are separately negotiating the sale of midfielder Tijjani Reijnders to Al-Qadsiah for a fee in the region of £51 million, a year after signing him from AC Milan for £46.5m.
