Brentford have completed a club-record signing, agreeing a deal worth £41 million to sign midfielder Sangare from French side Lens.
The Malian international, regarded as one of the most talented young midfielders to emerge from Ligue 1 in recent seasons, had attracted interest from several clubs across Europe before opting to join the Premier League side.
Sangare travelled to England to complete his medical and finalise the contract, with the transfer confirmed as one of the standout deals of the day across Europe's major leagues.
