Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Wizkid will headline the opening night of Detty December Fest 2026, organizers Livespot360 announced, kicking off 13 days of music, culture, food, and fashion in Lagos.
The opening concert is scheduled for Friday, December 18, at the Detty December Village, with the festival running through December 30. This year's edition introduces a second stage — Wizkid will headline the main Festival Stage, while a new Pulse Stage will spotlight emerging artists.
Last year's inaugural Detty December Fest drew more than 40,000 festivalgoers with a lineup including Busta Rhymes, Gunna, Shenseea, and Tiwa Savage — with Wizkid himself making a surprise appearance during Gunna's headline set. General Access tickets for this year's opening night are priced at ₦50,000, with VIP options up to ₦300,000. Additional headliners are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
