Champions League Draw: Real Madrid to Face Arsenal, PSG Drawn Against Barcelona

The 2026-27 Champions League league-phase draw in Monaco has paired Real Madrid against Arsenal and Inter Milan, while two-time reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona and Manchester City.


The draw for the league phase of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League was held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Monaco, revealing the opponents for all 36 teams in the competition’s primary stage.

Two-time reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, chasing an unprecedented third straight title, will face Barcelona and Manchester City among their eight league-phase opponents. Fifteen-time winners Real Madrid were drawn against Arsenal and Inter Milan. From the Premier League, Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool have all qualified for the league phase.

The first round of matches will be played from September 8-10, 2026, running through eight matchdays until January 27, 2027, before the knockout stage. The final will be held at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on Saturday, June 5, 2027.
