The finding follows the ICPC’s earlier uncovering of bogus offices operating within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, which led President Tinubu to order the arrest of a fake-agency promoter and suspend three permanent secretaries.
The commission said it would continue to review budgetary line items across ministries, departments and agencies to identify further irregularities linked to non-existent or unauthorised offices. No wrongdoing has been established against any named individual at this stage.
