US Appoints Brandon Hudspeth as New Consul General in Lagos

The US Mission in Nigeria has welcomed Brandon Hudspeth as the new Consul General at its Lagos consulate, returning to a post where he previously served.
The United States Mission in Nigeria has announced Brandon Hudspeth as the new Consul General at the US Consulate General in Lagos. Hudspeth returns to Nigeria, where he previously served as the consulate’s Political-Economic Section Chief.
Most recently, he served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Namibia. According to the mission, he brings global experience from postings in the Philippines, Mali, Cuba and Afghanistan, as well as service in Washington at the Operations Center and the Bureau of African Affairs.
The mission said it looks forward to strengthening US–Nigeria ties under his leadership.
